There he is, this giant face,
Hidden forever in this rock-hard lace.
The woven cliff appears at rest,
Yet inside, a heart does not digress.
For it is written that in days gone by,
There lived a witch whose enchanted pie
Could turn the brave into the weak,
Turn the tide and drown out speech.
Any nastiness would turn rock hard,
And that character would become marred.
Unfortunately, one darkened day,
A frightful giant was on his way
To pick some berries by the sea
And torment locals, precisely three.
The witch had heard of this young man,
And waited near to fulfill her plan.
As he approached, he smirked at her,
Leaning right ove
The blasts create explosions of redness,
Twisted fireworks in a confused world,
Frightened world.
Child soldiers march by. Old eyes and young hearts.
I feel the ground beating from under me.
I look down and see a small child shaking by my feet.
Motionless, his eyes grow larger, revealing yet more earth.
A vast space lay under the surface, a universe unfulfilled.
Blackness boils to the surface and darkness glazes over.
A smile illuminates his eyes spreading right over the earth.
Forming; the whiteness blinds my soul,
and trickles down his face.
Little white soldiers marching after the previous,
Faster and faster they emerge.

Hello everyone,
I am on the Illustration degree now, it is going really well but lots of work. I am learning new skills and my style has changed to a more illustrative style as opposed to the painterly fine art style I use for my paintings. Unfortunately, I hardly go on to DA now because I have so much work to do and I get home late from commuting so not much time for anything else.
I haven't got work to put up at the moment because it is mainly in sketchbooks and not final pieces but when I have got some I will submit it!
I have got some good news because I received an email saying I have got through to the next round of poet's choice on
Hey friends,
I hope you and your art are well.
I have now completed my foundation course. I have submitted photographs of my exhibition piece in my DA gallery.
This means that I can start a couple of personal projects. One is called "Absent". It reflects the absence of loved ones, how their absence affects family, clues and links to their persona, etc.. Sounds a bit morbid I know but I thought it would be good to create some emotive work. Also it gives me a chance to practise portraiture, light, composition and space.
My second project is an exploration of abstraction. I have developed a love for abstract work. I like the way there are no
Hello friends,
I hope you are well.
I have been so busy and continue to be busy. My college has an exhibition in two weeks and I have a final piece, supporting pieces and a catalogue to produce. It is a crazy amount of work so I am up doing this most of the time and slightly worrying too about not getting it all done. I was originally going to do one piece and a couple of poems but then my tutor mentioned about doing more supporting work and gave me some good ideas so now there is even more work.
Well it will be worth it in the end and there is a light at the end of the tunnel of work - summer hols!!! Yay! :bounce: I can not complain reall
Thanks so much yes It seems to be going well. I am learning lots and I am thoroughly enjoying it. At the moment I've just started my xmas holiday but I have so much work to do over it!! It doesn't feel like work though. How are you? How's your painting coming along? Each time I visit your page you seem to increase your skills. It is amazing. I love your study of Bijou.
Speak soon and take care xxx
